(smiling) I woke up one morning and read online that Lady Gaga will join the x-men cast to play the role of "Dazzler" but it was later revealed that it was an April Fools' Day prank...LOL
Initially, X-Men 3: The Last Stand had everyone thinking its the last in the movie franchise but shockingly X-men: First Class came out in 2011 and the negative criticisms was high because the movie went far back in time even before Wolverine's origin. And recently, it has become more complicated in the sense that it has to do with two time periods (FUTURE<->PAST). The characters from X-men 1,2 and 3 will join their youngerselves from X-men Firstclass in a battle that must change the past to save the future.
The Director (Bryan Singer) said: actors like Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore will reprise their role as original X-men's Wolverine, Magneto, Professor X, Storm, Rogue, Iceman, Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) and her comical husband Colossus Pryde's phasing ability enables time-travel to happen. Anna Paquin (Rogue) was also a cast, but the scene she shot was ultimately deleted (still hoping to see her).
For the first class James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult will be reprising their roles and as for the new faces, french actor omar sy will play lucas bishop (Bishop is known to come from the far future, even in X-men comics),evan jonigkeit will play the younger version of toad,Ink will make an appearance (he had no powers of his own but uses mutant powers through their tatoos).
William stryker, quicksilver and scarlet witch (magneto's twins), blink, sunspot, warpath and Alex summers (Havok) will be on this one, and this time Havok was not portrayed as Cyclops' brother in the film, but "somehow was related to him in a way that worked for both x-men:first class and the film.
Lastly, there were credit scenes from x-men 3 it showed Magneto still had his powers and professor X was not destroyed even if we saw him vapourized by jean earlier. In the mid-credits scene of the 2013 film The Wolverine, a television at an airport security checkpoint displays an ad for "Trask Industries", immediately after which Professor Xavier and Magneto warn Wolverine of an upcoming threat to mutant-kind.
And so folks......
Peter Dinklage will portray Bolivar Trask as the main antagonist of this movie
In December 2013, Singer announced the upcoming X-Men film, titled X-Men: Apocalypse. The film is scheduled to be released on May 27, 2016, and will act as a sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past. According to Singer, the film will focus the origin of the mutants.
Calgary Herald said the film is the second most expensive movie produced by 20th Century Fox after the 2009 film Avatar.
